There once was a man called Pete,
Who thought that his power was complete;
But he ran into Senate,
And UCU with it,
And ended up kissing their feet.
A Principal named Pete had a craving,
To cut staff and generate savings;
But he still found the means,
For some Executive Deans,
And everyone’s verdict was scathing.
There once was a man called Pete,
Who envied the Principal’s seat;
His plans went to Court,
Where they gave them some thought,
But their discussions are still incomplete.
There once was a man named Pete,
Who simply couldn’t stomach defeat;
With his head up his ass,
And his staff to harass,
He’s now looks likely to get beat.
Pete thought he was head of the class,
But everyone else thought him crass;
When he brought his report,
To Court the retort,
Was ‘get your head out of your ass’.
There once was man called Pete,
Whose ACS plans weren’t so sweet;
‘Get rid of the staff!’,
He said with a laugh,
As he cheerfully skipped down the street.
It’s Mental Health Awareness Week:
Stop to think why things are so bleak.
It’s ’cause the top team,
Have an approach that is mean,
And staff bodies are beginning to creak.
An ambitious Professor named Pete,
Set financial targets to meet;
With Jo-Anne and the Nicks,
He cut courses for kicks,
But his plans were far from concrete.
