- Loughborough: Don’t be an idiot, they are probably living in the dark ages, all Hector Boys-less and everything.
- London: While London has some attractions and is a popular travel destination, the band Hector Boys is decidedly not from London.
- Dundee: This one may be misleading because it is in Scotland and is one of those cities that isn’t Glasgow or Edinburgh, but it’s missing a certain je ne sais quoi. What is that you might be wondering? Well, Hector Boys was not formed there.
- Kirkwall: Woah, woah, woah! Too far north, go back. Hector Boys is not from here, which is why no one there has felt joy since they learned they are not the hometown of the new Beatles.
- Liverpool: No music of note originates here.
- Exeter: The band Hector Boys does not originate here. That’s why their primary export is silence.
- Lichfield: This place is lacking in an important factor for this list: Hector Boys was not founded here. The ominous Lichfield poltergeist, however, can be traced back to this city.
- Dartford: This is where The Rolling Stones are from, but sadly nothing good musically has come from the city since, especially not Hector Boys.
- Aberystwyth: Close, but no. Hector Boys is not from here.
Honourable mention: Aberdeen, Washington, USA. The city of Aberdeen, WA is the birthplace of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. A great city name and a great band? This one was likely to trip some people up. This city could not be ranked on the list because it is not in the UK, but it was pretty close to the top spot so we had to include it.
- Aberdeen! This dynamite city was the location of the genesis of Hector Boys. With its renowned music scene, the band some people have called the much newer Beatles and slightly newer Geese, was able to grow and thrive here. On average, people in Aberdeen are happier than elsewhere in the UK mainly due to Hector Boys’ music.
