A new Tesco Express store has opened its doors to customers on Thursday 18 February, with the team having worked behind the scenes the last few weeks anticipating a busy opening day.

Opposite Optical Express at the top of Union Street, the store has moved into a previously empty retail unit.

Despite store closures across the Aberdeen Highstreet, including Topshop and Debenhams, the store is now home to over 25 staff members with the new store manager highlighting that ‘it is exciting to be the first store in Scotland to be opening in just over two years’.
