With Christmas looming and the dreaded Christmas shop as you scramble last minute to find a present for your aunt\u2019s-neighbour\u2019s-dog, we thought we\u2019d provide a comprehensive guide to deals, both within Aberdeen and online, that may help your money go further<\/span><\/p>\n

I find as I begin to worry about presents and Christmas parties, bargain hunting and savvy finds seem near impossible to get. I\u2019ve tried to include a well-ranged list for a wide range, so there\u2019s something for everyone!<\/span><\/p>\n

First up and a personal favourite: MiXR App<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This app has been a saviour in recent years for me. Foundry<\/em>, Siberia<\/em>, Triplekirks<\/em>, Murdos <\/em>are a few to list with this app. Simply download and get access to many deals over the year. Be careful of sneaky terms and conditions such as weekdays only, or certain drinks only, but once you\u2019ve found that out, you\u2019re good to go!<\/span><\/p>\n

Queens Links<\/strong>: Using valid Student Beans, UNiDays, or simply your student ID!<\/span><\/p>\n

Queens Links Leisure Park<\/em> has a wide range of discounts you may not have even known about. Both TGI Fridays<\/em> and Pizza Hut<\/em>\u00a0offer 20% off food and drink from Sunday to Thursday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, if you fancy a fun Christmas day or night out, Codona\u2019s offers student discounts on all activities! Simply remember your student ID and let them know when you go to pay.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prime Subscription<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you’re addicted to online shopping like me, this one is definitely for you. Register for Amazon Prime<\/em> with your @abdn.ac.uk email and get Amazon Prime<\/em>\u00a0free for six months. Plus, even after your six months is up, you are still at a discounted student rate!<\/span><\/p>\n

Jump in Aberdeen<\/strong><\/p>\n

Again, for those who are looking for something fun to do, Jump in by AirHop<\/em>\u00a0in Aberdeen offers a 20% discount to anyone with a valid student ID, by using the code STUDENT20 at the checkout.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
