Event will highlight the group's work on measuring the impact of the energy transition
The University's Just Transition Lab will hold an online event about their work on Thursday, the 29th of February from 2-4 PM.
Entitled ‘Measuring Just Transition: Lessons from the North East of Scotland,’ the event will focus on the team's research, which has sought to measure the impact of the energy transition on jobs and earnings, equality and wellbeing, democratic participation, and community empowerment.
Coordinator of the Lab Dr Daria Shapovolva told us: "This online event follows publication of the report on Measuring Just Transition in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire."
"The interdisciplinary research team will share their experience in developing place-based indicators for Just Transition, the use or participatory methods and approaches, and present the relevant economic and social data for the North East."
A group discussion and Q&A will take place after the speakers have finished their presentations.
