Internship Opportunity: Social Media and Website Management

A local botanic garden charity are seeking a volunteer intern

The Friends of the Cruickshank Botanic Garden, which is part of the University, would like to recruit a volunteer intern to help the committee manage its website (www.fcbgaberdeen.org.uk) and social media feeds for the next 12 months.

We are a registered charity supporting the Garden and University in many ways, including a programme of lectures and other events.

This opportunity would suit a student (undergraduate or postgraduate) who is reasonably proficient with IT systems, although specialist knowledge isn’t required, and there are videos which cover how the website platform operates.

Although unpaid, this position would provide experience of working for an environmental charity alongside a group of committed garden enthusiasts.

The committee would be happy to provide references and free membership of the FCBG for the duration of your studies in Aberdeen.
