There is a major presence of emergency services on King Street, including a Royal Logistic Corps Bomb Disposal van, several fire engines and numerous police vehicles.

This follows a major incident on Saturday night, when a 26-year-old man was arrested and subsequently charged after the recovery of a "number of chemicals".

Police appeared to be searching a property next to Tesco Express but declined to say why they were on the scene.

As of yet, the area has not been cordoned off but motorists are likely to experience delays.
